Staff was friendly. Room we stayed in was kind of dated, almost a retro feel, but it was spotless and well maintained and we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast offering of Jimmy Johns breakfast sandwich (one per guest) was a good idea, unfortunately the taste was unappealing. There were always other healthy options though.

The staff makes Red lion stand apart from other value options in the area. It is a well-kept property with easy access to the freeway as well as downtown Bellevue. They have a good gym, great to go breakfast with 1-2 healthy options, swimming pool, and open courtyard area. Easy to take free shuttle into the city and walkable. The amenities are also decent with spacious rooms. Safe for solo female travelers and good value for business trips.
