First this unit seemed promising. Unfortunately, the owners unwillingness to deal with expected home ownership problems and pictures that don't represent the real condition of the home/view/and location impacted our stay in a very negative way. Though the owner was responsive, he was naive and unrealistic about what was happening.The biggest issue the water heater. At its worse it was at 80 degrees F, the owner stated it was "tolerable." Rental unit temps range between 100-106 degrees. It was not functioning when we arrived on a Friday & finally fixed the day before we left Monday. I asked for a one-night refund since our comings and goings were impacted because we wouldn't shower in tepid water for days and his plumber wouldn't come until Monday. Dishes and clothes could not be washed with any hot water. HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALL.The unit is across the street from the lake, but another 3-4 story condo blocks the view. The carport did not fit our rental car. The unit smelled upon arrival, the electrical outlet plates had to be removed cause our normal plugs kept falling out of them, the router for the Internet did not work until he came on the 2nd day. The neighbor can see into your bedroom always.The neighborhood is "quaint" but the street packed with cars. The unit's heating is inconsistent. Most of it was warm except when you stepped into the lower level hall where it was very cold.You will be better served finding another location, unless you are desperate.
