A good stopover if you’re visiting Monterey bay aquarium or nearby places. The property is pretty new and has restaurant and a full service bar on site. The best part is the pool and spa which is very accessible and well maintained.

The hotel was super modern new and clean, only down side was everyday they had an event in the main outdoor area so if you want to go somewhere where there isn’t people then it might not be the place, but from our room we didn’t have noise disturbances but parking at night was sometimes tricky but I would definitely recommend it again and for the price it was 10/10

Completely new and modern design, huge bedroom and bathroom in comparison to other Courtyard Marriotts. And much nicer! I didn’t get to enjoy the amenities as I stayed one night. The lobby and outdoor main spaces were beautiful and on a Friday evening, was hopping with people eating and drinking. I was told they have social events every weekend.

Rooms very modern and clean. Balcony was nice.. si i could open and let breeze in. Great location and good amenities. One caution - i had one of the rooms with a shared door with the adjacent room. These doors are not sound attenuating in the least bit.....meaning my neighbor's fun time at 12 or 1 am was a bit frustrating as i had to be up at 5am. Other than that, the bar/restaurant in lobby had great selections...Gym is the biggest I've seen in a hotel.

Expedia ripped me off with the fake upgrade to "bayview". There is no bay view. No water in sight except for the pool. You'll get a view of Costco and Target and some sand hills. But definitely no bay water.

Booked a room with partial ocean view, but only saw a tiny tinny sliver if a tall person stood on top of room sofa all the way at the end of the window and looker around the building corner and over a hill. Not even close to a partial view. Paid for breakfast in the booking but got the runaround with that too. This is a newly opened hotel of only four days so maybe they’ll get things sorted out. Very nice hotel and comfortable beds.

This hotel feels misleading and absolutely not worth the money. We paid extra specifically for a bay view room with a balcony and instead were put in a cheap room overlooking the parking lot with no balcony whatsoever. That is not a minor inconvenience — it is literally not the room category we booked and paid for. To make things worse, the hotel barely provided basic toiletries. No lotion and missing standard amenities you would expect even from lower-priced hotels. The entire stay felt low quality and poorly managed. Parking was another joke: extremely limited spaces while still charging $15 per night. Paying extra for downgraded accommodations and inconvenient parking made the whole experience frustrating from start to finish. If you book an upgraded room here, don’t assume you’ll actually receive it. We definitely did not.

The facility is beautiful and the staff are friendly. There were problems though. The biggest issue was that we were denied the complimentary breakfast. One of the reasons I booked a stay at this property was beacuse of the complimentary breakfast that was included in the Expedia information and subsequent reservation. We were told by two different staff members that because we booked our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott, we did not receive breakfast. Apparently breakfast was only for Residence Inn guests. Totally embarrassing for us and extremely disappointing. Furthermore, there were no pool towels, so we had to use our bathroom towels. We asked for more of those, they were never delivered to the room as promised. Lastly, the bedsheets were intolerably scratchy. I slept poorly because of it.
