Located between Berchtesgaden and Königssee at an elevation of about 700 meters, the "Waldklause" bed-and-breakfast offers a quiet yet central setting. From our house, you can look out across the adjacent meadow directly at the imposing Untersberg massif. For sun worshippers, we have a large garden with plenty of lounge chairs. Of course, there is ample parking available for our guests. Even in winter, our proximity to the Jennerbahn valley station (2 km) makes us an ideal starting point for ski tourers and cross-country skiers. And after an eventful day, you can relax in our cozy rooms or in the lounge, or round out the evening at one of the nearby restaurants. Free Wi-Fi is available to our guests.

You’ll enjoy your stay with your own approximately 50-square-meter terrace and direct access to our well-maintained garden. The cozy living room features a pull-out couch, a seating area, a flat-screen TV, an open kitchenette, and a dining table—all with a beautiful mountain view. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, oven, fridge-freezer combo, coffee maker, and much more. All the furniture is custom-made by a carpenter. The spacious bedroom with a flat-screen TV has direct access to the terrace. The roomy bathroom, featuring a rain shower, two sinks, a towel warmer, a makeup mirror, a hair dryer, and a separate toilet, rounds out your relaxing vacation. Our well-maintained house, lovingly furnished in a country-style, is situated in a very quiet location on the edge of the forest.
