Lovely staff

We were given a lovely welcome with a complimentary soft drink whilst we checked in. The owners were friendly and welcoming and helped move our bags to our room. Lovely large room and bed. Really good value.

Lovely little hotel

We loved this place ,it is very roomy and in a great location. The bed was so comfortable i sent a msg after are stay so we could buy one. The staff was very nice, we even had a msg to wish us a safe journey. We will be back .

Fabulous boutique hotel.

Excellent stay. Great location, short walk into town for restaurants and attractions. Very quiet during our stay (March) and unfortunately the restaurant was being refurbished. However, not a problem, as there is plenty of choice in town. Service, particularly from Steph, was excellent. I mentioned that radiator wasn't working and within minutes a heater was delivered to our room. She was also very helpful with parking arrangements. Internal decor was very tasteful and clean but one suggestion is to invest in double glazing, as fairly close to main road.

Fabulous hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff, superb bed, great room and bathroom. Bit of noise from traffic but that stopped at night. Fabulous hotel. Will stay again when in Scarborough.Parking permit sold by hotel to park on street. No problem in March plenty of spaces.

This is a real gem of a hotel would put it in the boutique range. The staff and owners couldn't be more helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location and provides top quality rooms that are quirky with luxury beds and linen. If you are lucky you may be able to see the chapel. Have no problems recommending the hotel and will always stay there when in the area.

Brilliant hotel

Lovely b and b close to town. Shame bar wasn't open as it looked lovely. Nice lady welcomed us and showed us to our room which was clean and spacious with good bathroom facilities. Thanks for great stay.

Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Chapel House Hotel for a long weekend work commitment. The room was clean, tidy and the bed super comfortable. The en-suite beautifully clean. All the original features have been kept wherever possible and this adds to the overall style.... modern where appropriate. The meal on Friday was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble got the staff and owners. They have a sculpture and artist in residence and we came away with 2 amazing paintings from John ’cool box’ Lawton. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. If you stay ask to see the chapel situated at the bottom of the house. It is truly wonderful, the wood panelling and painted wall panels are stunning.

Weekend Break

Had a lovely weekend stay, the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome straight away. The room we had was very spacious and had a touch of luxury about it. Parking nearby was easy to find and the cost was fantastic. We would stay here again for sure.

Good location. Nice clean bedrooms. We had to leave early due to a family emergency and could not contact any of the on call people. There were no staff on duty for us to check out which I found distressing with having to leave in a rush.

Chapel house stay

The hotel was well located . We were greeted by the owner Mika who was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious however the only drawback we found as the room was facing the main road that it was a little noisy and the room was incredibly hot due to the hot weather that we experienced that weekend. Maybe air con or a fan would be beneficial as it was getting a bit uncomfortable at times but didnt spoil our stay.
