Arrived at 1 a.m.. after unpacking, we realized both beds had dirty sheets. We called the desk and they promised to send someone with bedding, but we’d have to change the linens ourselves. We were dead tired but sat and waited for clean linens. Staff was sent to the wrong room so we had to call back down. By the time this was all done, it was after 3 a.m. also noticed that the bathroom was wet—looked like somebody slapped a wet cloth around and didn’t wipe it dry. And $5 for a cup of coffee? Not sure what “full service” means. Coin operated laundry ? We cancelled our reservation and packed up and moved elsewhere. Suite with a kitchen, free coffee and breakfast and laundry. All of this for far less than half the cost of the Marriott

Excellent staff. Bellman, Nick, was extraordinary from the moment we arrived to check in. My husband is disabled and he went the extra mile to ensure that we were accommodated. My reservation request was for a handicap accessible room with a walk-in shower. I asked for confirmation three times during check in. When we got to the room, it was a bathtub, so we had to be reassigned to a different room. Nick stayed with us during the entire ordeal to make sure we got the appropriate room as requested. Once we got that situated, the rest of the service was good.

Very nice place

Rooms were clean & well kept. The a/c didn't seem to work well at all - thermostat went down to 60 but the room felt hot & stale. The beds are very soft & not very supportive. As someone with a bad back, this didn't work for me but my kids loved it. The shower cycled through lukewarm & mildly hot water at the hottest setting. Other than that, the front desk people were wonderful & the lounge was nice to have.

The only bad thing I could say is at the bar a single drink for $ 18 is 2oz but a double drink for $36 is only 3oz. It is better to get 2 single drinks than 1 double you will get 1 oz more liquor

Anytime I have stayed at this Marriott, parking and check-in was very easy. Staff is very welcoming and room is clean and comfortable. It is also a great view of the river and easy walking to River Street but far enough to be quiet right around hotel.

This was a decent property, and in a wonderful location. The $40/night parking was not worth it, especially since you can just get a ticket and drive out because the bar was never down.
