We booked this VRBO for a night in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Although the interior of the home looked acceptable and was consistent with the listing photos, we were very uncomfortable with the location, the surrounding neighborhood, and the exterior appearance of the property. There were no outdoor photos of the house in the listing, which we feel would have given us a better idea of what to expect.When we arrived, the area and overall appearance of the property gave us an uneasy feeling, and we did not feel safe staying there. Ultimately, we made the decision to leave and forfeit the cost of our night rather than stay somewhere we felt uncomfortable.We believe guests should have a clear and accurate picture of both the interior and exterior of a property, as well as its surroundings, before booking. We would have appreciated more transparency in the listing.
