Agawa Canyon Tour 2025

We ate breakfast three mornings in a row. The first and third were not busy and lots of food was available. The second was a very busy day with a bus tour group eating at the same time. The one staff member serving was overburdened trying to manage the rush. More help was needed. The food was excellent. Well-cooked bacon or sausages and eggs plus other usual items. Our only complaint was the cool temperature of the water in the swimming pool. We stayed only a few minutes and then warmed up in the shower. Staff were quite friendly and helpful.

My wife and I stayed at the Microtel Inn & Suites in Sault Ste. Marie for three nights, and I regret to say that our experience fell short of expectations. We were placed in a wheelchair-accessible room, despite not requesting one. The bathroom sink would not drain, the showerhead leaked and sprayed water across the floor and onto us, and the absence of a vanity made the room impractical for our needs. When I asked to be moved, the afternoon front desk attendant on duty bluntly informed me that the Inn was fully booked and said only that maintenance would resolve the issues. The maintenance worker later confirmed he could not fix them. I was then told we would only be able to move rooms on the final day of our stay. When we returned on the third day, the evening attendant was unaware of any such arrangement. Thankfully, she was able to move us, but by this point the lack of communication and delayed response had already caused significant inconvenience. I hope these issues will be addressed to prevent similar experiences for future guests.

Everything with our room was great except a designated smoking area away from the building would be better. Someone was at the back corner beneath our room, 225, smoking and unfortunately due to a poor seal around our window, we could smell the smoke as it rose and came through the window to our room. Otherwise everything including breakfast was great.
