The hotel was very secure, parking was in a locked, gated compound. The hotel had secure entrance and secure hallways so unauthorized people couldn't get in. Charming character and the room was quite large with 3 sets of windows. Think of a European hotel room with twice as much room.

Charming place to stay with very pleasant staff. Would highly recommend for a unique hotel different from the regular same old same old. Nice little continental breakfast. Great location to walk to Midtown or other venues downtown.

Loaded .with character. Super staff and a historic landmark in central DT Saskatoon. My single room was well kept and clean. I enjoyed the very extensive beer selectons in the bar. Easy walk to sights, shopping and attractions.

Enjoyed our stay and the staff were wonderful. The gentleman at checkout shared stories about the hotels history and showed us around a bit, that was so appreciated. A beautiful old hotel with lots of history. The pub next door was convenient where we enjoyed a delicious supper and hospitality. We will stay again!!

The room seemed generally clean, but I found a used condom in the bathroom garbage that was clearly missed. Check-in was rough. The front desk attendant was not technically skilled and didn't realize that the debit/credit machine had lost its internet connection, leading to some lengthy angst as to why my credit card wasn't working. The continental breakfast was fine, but very very basic. The parking was weird -- the way the stalls are designed some of the cars block in others, and those owners are required to leave their keys at the front desk so that hotel staff can move the cars when necessary. That said, it's well restored older hotel, still showing its age in some respects, but comfortable enough. The location is awesome, right in the middle of the downtown action. And the adjoining pub, Winston's (with its own brewery) is a great spot. Lots of restaurants, breweries, cafes and shops nearby.

Hotel Senator is a very unique hotel in Saskatoon. I suggest the Hotel can improve its service in the following dimensions: 1. the hotel corridor is smelly, probably because the staff used insect repellent. 2. the shower room should install ventilating fan 3. There are only two small reading lamps in my room. It is very dark and makes visitors uncomfortable.
