The tv was not working in our room. Maintenance (Chuck) was sent up to our room. When it was discovered that our room was the only room where it wasn’t working, we were upgraded and given 2 breakfast vouchers!!! Doug really went out of his way to ensure a very pleasurable stay!!

The bathroom itself was not very clean. There was noticeable filth in the shower and on the floor. We made reservations for a sit down breakfast to arrive and them tell us they switched it to a buffet style breakfast the morning of. If we had known, we would have gone elsewhere. We received massages during our stay. I think she just rubbed in the oil onto my skin for 50 minutes. It was the worst massage I’ve ever received.

We chose the hotel due to it being within walking distance from SPAC, where we attended a concert. The check-in was quick. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was clean and well appointed for a one-night stay. There is a Kuerig and a mini-fridge in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within Saratoga Spa State Park, where there are many trails to explore. The hotel provided us with a map and we enjoyed walking some of the beautiful trails. Our only issue was checking out - there was a large group that was attending a conference, and many people were checking in early. We had to wait in a long line just to hand in our room keys, which was a bit annoying. Other than that it was good.
