Staff members are the difference. Clean rooms. A special mention to Joelma, the housekeeper. Reception personnel very friendly and accommodating. This is my place of choice every time I visit SP.

recently stayed at the Transamerica Executive Congonhas with my wife and two children (5 years and 5 months old). They market themselves as a 4-star hotel, but based on my experience, a 3-star rating would be generous, with several aspects feeling closer to a 2-star establishment. For the price (approx. 500 BRL), I expected much better. While the service was polite, it lacked attention to detail. Despite having three paying guests, we arrived to find only two bath towels and had to call for another. The toiletries, particularly the soap, were low quality. The room condition was the biggest issue. The bathroom was very small by Brazilian standards and, concerningly, had visible signs of mold starting to form. The A/C unit was old and noisy (not an inverter); the loud compressor kicking on and off throughout the night made it difficult to sleep. Breakfast was also underwhelming. For a country with such diverse food as Brazil, the lack of variety was surprising for a hotel of this supposed category. Overall, this property does not live up to its 4-star claim. It feels like Transamerica was probably a nice and luxurious hotel in the past, but over the years it has become outdated and lacks the glamorous executive prestige it once had.

Ao chegar e tentar fazer o check-in, o funcionário da recepção não foi nada cordial. Pediu para eu aguardar porque o sistema estava atualizando. Eu esperei por quase 20 minutos. Depois, ele disse que não encontrava minha reserva. Pediu para eu preencher um formulário e pediu para tirar cópia do meu documento de identidade. Certamente desconfiando na minha integridade. Após mais de 15 minutos, ele solicitou que eu enviasse cópia do voucher da reserva. Eu enviei uns prints do meu celular. Após quase 40 minutos, eu finalmente consegui subir para o quarto. Eu estava acompanhando e foi extremamente constrangedor. Passados dois dias, tenho recebido mensagens via whats do hotel me cobrando, novamente, a apresentação de voucher sob argumento de que enviei apenas prints de tela. Estou achando esta situação toda um absurdo! Um incômodo desnecessário.
