The room was in terrible condition. The bed sheets were dirty and full of hair, and there were stains everywhere. The bathroom was extremely small and filthy—when sitting on the toilet, my legs touched the sink, and the shower curtain was grimy and too long. To top it off, the front desk refused to give me toilet paper, so I had to buy wipes from a nearby deli. Very disappointing experience.

Love the ability to walk around. It is a noisy area but it’s in the heart of nightlife. Very fun area. The hotel is very clean, very friendly.

The location is perfect if you want to explore the Zona Colonial. It is a few steps away from the Plaza Colon where restaurants abound. This is a hostel and so they have very basic amenities. The room Ingotnis on the 3rd floor and has no windows. I dont recommend it for claustrophobic. if you want rooms with windows, they have it on the 4th floor. They dont have an elevator and so be ready with your knees to climb the stairs. In the room, they have good airconditioning system, the hot water in the shower is working good, they have tv which I didnt use because the remote control is not working,they have a safe which is also not working. They dont provide soap and shampoos but I got small bar soap when I requested at the front desk. The bed is comfortable. Wifi is working good. They dont have a lampshae beside the bed and so you have to get up to turn off the light. The switch is right at the side of the door. Without the lampshade, you will be groping in the dark to go back to your bed after switching off the light. Remember there are now windows and so you are like in the dungeon. On my first night they had a power outage. The aircon stopped, no lights and I was immersed in total darkness. The staff are hospitable and welcoming. For short stay in the Zona Colonial I MAY choose this hotel again.
