The room and the staff are excellent, especially those on the Ambassador level. Roman and Santo are great as well as Mercedess in the spa. The only complaint is the breakfast service in the restaurant. We’ve been here many times and it does not seem to get better. The food is quite mediocre and the service is slow - long wait to get coffee and water at the table- the prepared egg/omelete station cooks are not preparing food well. Other food like hash brown potatoes and other is not up to par for a fine hotel. And often times the food is not replenished. I hope this helps to improve El Embajador. It is a lovely hotel, but service needs to rise a bit in these areas.
