The Best Scape

I love the Billini Hotel. The rooms are spotless and the building is beautiful, steeped in Dominican history. The entire staff is very professional, the food is excellent, and the reception staff is wonderful, always willing to make your stay a wonderful experience, taking advantage of everything this incredible place has to offer. Walking around the city's colonial center is very beautiful and safe.

We have stayed before in different hotels in the area. We love the architecture, the setting in the historical district. The bedrooms are a deal breaker when selecting hotels for our last two trips to DR this year, they are superior to those of comparable hotels, including Nicolás de Ovando, which is a hotel we love. Staff service is very good. The renovations conducted recently (and ongoingly) in the zone have made the hotel feel closer to key spaces such as the cathedral, Parque Colón, Plaza de España, Paseo del Conde, among others.

I enjoyed my stay at the Billini Hotel. I just wish that more staff spoke English considering it caters to a wide variety of tourists. The hotel property is amazing and has a very cosy feeling to it. I enjoyed the vast variety of breakfast options they had. Would love to stay there again.

The hotel is very nice and the first impression when you get there is excellent. However, as we had experiences with the service, like requests for towels, we started sensing weaknesses. I am not sure if I would stay there again, or will go back to Nicolás de Ovando, our usual hotel in the colonial zone.
