Positives: gorgeous cat, good location near the metro. Negatives: the owner was erratic and hostile. you will get evicted from the building straight after checkout. I left my bags there for the day as my bus wasn’t until the evening - when I went back to collect them I used the toilet. The man was genuinely screaming and shouting at me, and banging down the toilet door. Incredibly weird behaviour and a frightening experience so I was disgusted with the customer service. He also plays music very loud. Dust everywhere. Awful shower. dead atmosphere. Avoid!

Quick stay between flights

It worked for us as a quick inexpensive stay between our flights but not sure about longer stay. The room was fine, but creaky floors might make it a bit hard to sleep if there are others moving around. It had a homey atmosphere with a friendly cat greeting us. Shower didn't look clean, so we opted not to use it.

Let me be honest and start positive as I genuinely loved this place even though my scores do not reflect it. The building itself is of the historic colonial kind so it's very beautiful and the surrounding area is fantastic. It has so much potential as a hostel but that being said it's pretty run down. Simple, small things could have improved my stay here, for example none of the bathrooms have a shower head holder. This is pretty basic and easy to fix so it kind of conveys the overall standard of the place. The rooftop area could be exceptional but it's just shabby. It's all slightly disappointing really. The rooms have creaky wooden floors and echoing high ceilings which makes for a lot of noise unfortunately. The toilets are not clean. My bed was comfortable, the breakfast basic. It has a lot of character and I get the impression that they are working to improve the place. I would definitely recommend this to backpackers but not to travellers who prefer the order and cleanliness of hotels.

バスルームは清潔とは言えず、シャワーのお湯がなかなか出ませんでした。フロントは24時間対応と明記されていますが、飛行機の時間の都合で朝6時にチェックアウトする際、建物内全ての照明が消されており真っ暗で、フロントの呼び鈴を押しても誰も出てこず、仕方がないので鍵をフロントのデスクの上に置いて出てきました。請求額がエクスペディアから通知を受けていた金額よりも高額で不信感を抱きました。

Bom atendimento. Recepcionistas atenciosos. Hostel localizado na parte mais central de Santiago mas com supermercado e bons restaurantes muito perto. Estação Cumming bem perto. O quarto compartilhado não é ruim, mas tem um pouco de barulho da rua. A wi fi é satisfatória.
