"The room was clean, had a good bed, and was quiet after about 9:00. A strong "plus" were the desk staff who went out of their way to be welcoming, friendly and helpful. The stay was as I expected, decent value for the money. The place is in the heart of town, so every place was easily walkable and I left my car in the free parking. The only thing that was extremely annoying was the number of emails I got from the business---about fifteen emails over two days---which required going to the email, then clicking on the button, then clicking on another butter for no additional news; several came after I had checked out, telling me how to check out. One "welcome" email would have been sufficient. Otherwise, a good choice."

"My daughter and I stayed at the resort for a local horse show. She is 16 so not a small child. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. All the staff were incredibly friendly. Self parking was very convenient as well! I do not gamble so I can't speak to that part of the resort. We did go on the casino floor as all dining options are there. Security was clear that my daughter must stay with me and could not step on the actual gaming floor (near slots, etc). There is a great cafe open 24 hours which serves Starbucks coffee. You can not use your app though so be aware. The Sports Bar was excellent as there were multiple options (Burger/Pub food, Tacos/Mexican, Noodles/Ramen, and sushi. You can order at the kiosk and get your food to go or dine in. Overall our stay was very comfortable, having a minor child wasn't a big issue, and the location was excellent (in Santa Ynez but very close to Solvang). Side note: besides the casino, minors (under 21 actually) can not visit the pool."
