Be aware of what you reserve

No English spoken at all by the staff or by most people working around this area. You should also be aware that this place is off the main highway, making it more difficult to arrange transportation. Also, you need to walk 500m on the beach to access the hostel, not a place for suitcases as cars physically can't reach the place. No A/C so you also need to be aware that it will get hot. Not a bad place at all but it is not for everyone.

Amazing spot right in front of the beach and next to the lagoon! Somehow both modern and rustic, private balcony with hammocks, great internet. Only complaint would be the curtain rods which fell off any time you touched them. We had a wonderful stay!

Nous souhaitons nous reposer Ă  la plage aprĂšs 4 jours de trek dans la forĂȘt. L hĂŽtel sur le site paraissait ĂȘtre chill avec terrasse et hamac. À notre arrivĂ©e, accueil nonchalant, la personne ne trouvait pas notre rĂ©servation. Elle nous a tout de mĂȘme conduit Ă  une chambre, vu sur la jungle comme prĂ©vu mais aussi sur le linge de l hĂŽtel et de grand containers en plastique certes utiles je pense pour la rĂ©cupĂ©ration de l eau mais pas vraiment esthĂ©tique vu qu ils Ă©taient directement sur notre terrasse. Aucun discours d accueil, on a dĂ» poser nous mĂȘme les questions sur le fonctionnement de l hĂŽtel. Chambre correcte sauf que le rideau tombait car mal fixĂ©, pas de rideau de douche comme sur les photos et notre hamac sur notre terrasse a Ă©tĂ© occupĂ© par la personne qui nous a reçu donc bye bye la pause dĂ©tente. Sinon les environnements sont sympa, petits resto et bars qui nous ont permis de passer un bon sĂ©jour malgrĂ© la dĂ©ception de l hĂŽtel. On trouve beaucoup d autres hĂ©bergements sur cette plage, au mĂȘme prix et beaucoup plus sympathiques

Cozy room and amazing staff

We had an incredible stay at Hostal Mocambo Beach. Everything went really smooth and the staff is very approachable and kind. The rooms are cozy with amazing views on the ocean and you can hear the waves all night long. Overall we had a great experience and I would highly recommend staying here when you want to spend a beautiful time right at the beach.
