Beautiful designed hotel, but this marred by antiquated rooms with few electrical outlets, no towel racks, a clogged shower head whose few unclogged holes shot skin piercing needles of water insufficient to rinse off, poorly vacuumed floors, room not made up one day, noisy refrigerator. To add insult to injury, my credit card was charged for full stay when checking in, not out. this could be a stunning hotel with new management and a refresh of the rooms. We ate no meals on premises.

Overall, a great experience.

Clean facilities and friendly staff always willing to help. Steam room and showers were nice to be able to wind down after walking around downtown all day.

We could hear people talking in their rooms from the hall and all night in our room. Some grown adults were being inappropriate in the pool with children in the pool.

We Loved our stay at the El Dorado! Conveniently located close to the plaza, as well as an easy walk to the train station where the farmers market was amazing. The staff was very personable, friendly and helpful. This will be our go to when in Santa Fe

Friendly staff, helpful too. Rooms are clean with coffee maker and water every day. Pool looked fantastic but we did not go in it. Staff helped us with the clogged toilet too. Perfect location to walk to Joseph’s, Dinner for Two and Coyote Cafe. We had breakfast daily at Wolf and the Mermaid. Great location. We will return there!

Our experience was not positive. The first room they provided smelled like cigarettes. They did move us to another room, unfortunately there was a storm and their patched ceiling leaked and fell on our luggage and soaked our clothes.

Prorperty was ok but not to the level of other nearby hotels like lafonda , the worse part was the elevators broke and no one told us. We had to carry luggage down 5 flights of stairs. Again hotel was ok but not to the level of luxury the name implies, a bit overated
