I received a courtesy call around 9:35pm the night I was Staying to tell me the doors would be locked at 10pm.
I have Never received a call before at any hotel I have Stayed at, so it was a bit shocking. I informed them that I would be there a little later and was told to access the night door.
Upon arrival, the courtesy clerk took me inside so I can sign the documents/get the keys.
There was no access to the room from inside the hotel lobby, I had to go around and up some stairs to get to an unlocked door.
When I got Into the room, I could Immediately tell that this was an older hotel that was in need of some tlc, however it was quiet and fairly clean.
The next morning, I sent the family to get some breakfast while I loaded the car. The kitchen staff acted similarly to security ensuring no one was taking too many of one item.
Mind you this “continental” breakfast had No hot food. It was some pastries, a waffle machine and a little bit of apples/oranges.
Overall, I was disappointed for the price and the misleading photos indicating this was a great hotel. It was not BAD but it certainly won’t warrant a return trip for my family and I .
