We chose this hotel very last minute and we found a hidden gem! Location is excellent, literally 3 minutes walking distance from the beach. We absolutely loved the Spanish revival interior (floors and doors are gorgeous!), and the delicious breakfast! We just left but we are already planning our next trip to Santa Barbara to stay at this amazing hotel!

Unique hotel, southwest style. Very good reception. Good breakfast included. Room was clean and we even had a whole kitchen included. The only little thing was before getting our warm water from the shower it took a long time, lots of gallons of water waisted because of the waiting time. They have their own parking which is a must .

The Eagle Inn is a jewel. It is on a quiet street but easily walkable to the beach. It has an old world feel with beautiful tiles, but is very well kept up. The front desk staff were very attentive. The breakfast is freshly made and it is lovely to sit out on their terrace.

staff was so helpful and friendly. comfy beds, clean hotel, easy parking and we really loved their fresh breakfasts. It was nice touch to have access to free water, coffee, tea and cookies all day long. GREAT Location - walking distance to so much. Santa Barbara is beautiful and great restaurants. Great location to downtown, restaurants, bars, the beach. FREE parking!!!!!! OMG this is such a plus these days! EXCELLENT complimentary breakfast. Ceiling fans in the room so you don't have to run the a/c to circulate air in the room (quite frankly every hotel should have ceiling fans). Overall, a great motel. We would stay here again.

Our room was very clean, comfortable, and had nice decor. The hotel is relatively small but was very conveniently located within walking distance of downtown (main drag: State Street) and the beach. We had no issue getting a free parking spot in their lot on the side of the building. The free breakfast was made-to-order and was delicious although there were only 4 options to choose from as it's a tiny kitchen. They even have both indoor and outdoor seating on their nice front porch next to the sidewalk. Check in and check out at the front desk was very easy. Their wifi worked fine in the lobby but did not work well at all in our room but that's my only issue with this hotel.

We loved the true bed & breakfast experience with made to order breakfast. We didn't get the offer to have it in room or on the balcony that we read about but that was okay for us on this trip - I'm not sure if that offer still applies. Warm cookies were there when we arrived (but weren't made aware of them, just stumbled upon them) but a nice surprise! Lots of nice touches. An older property but lots of charm! We would recommend and will return if we can.

The Eagle Inn is located in quiet, and very pretty, residential area. It is a short distance to the ocean and relatively eastywalking distance to many restaurants, shops, and museums downtown. When I visit Santa Barbara again, I'll certainly try to stay at The Eagle Inn.
