Besides outdated and dilapidated, the room’s floor was not clean and we had no heating in the room…the fireplace / heater would turn on for a few seconds then shut off…there’s no one at the front desk after 10 PM so you just have to deal with it…although the location is close to the beach it’s hardly to the standard you’d expect…the pool was clean and warm, which might have been the only highlight.

Good location and very friendly staff—especially Jay at the front desk—but the hotel itself is in extremely poor condition. The first room we were given hadn’t been cleaned at all: trash on the floor, unmade beds, and used towels. We were moved to a smaller room that didn’t match what we originally booked, and even that room felt worn down and dirty. Bathroom flooring was coming apart, corners were filthy, and the shower had mold and cracks. Outside the room wasn’t better. We found human feces in the parking lot in the evening, and it was still there the next morning. The property overall feels neglected, with rust and lack of maintenance everywhere. Staff members like Jay are doing their best, but ownership must not be giving management enough investment into maintaining this place. Not worth the price, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Upon checking into our room, the bathroom toilet was running, making a very loud noise. I worked on the toilet and determined the plunger was bad, but if I adjusted it slightly by had after each flush it worked. Two of the main lights did not work, and one light flickered whenever we sat in the bed. Wish we’d checked the bed when this happened. Instead we changed and went to dinner. On our return we went to bed and felt something crawling on us. Busted out a flash light and found both dead and living bugs (see photos) of two different varieties. Chat GPT says it’s an ant mimicking spider and noted the right legs. Really hoping they’re not bedbugs. Expedia helped cancel the following night, but wouldn’t do anything for the one night. We decided to leave for another hotel. Glad I purchased trip protection. Will try filing a claim.

Loved this little hotel! Our room was clean, check in/out was simple, the bed was comfortable. Nice quiet location. Even with no AC, the room stayed a very comfortable temperature all throughout our stay. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

We showed up a bit before 4pm and our room wasn’t ready. We left to run an errand, came back a little before 5pm and our room still was not ready. When we finally came in, there was NO AC. The lights flickered. The floor was still dirty since the manager told the lady to just mop and not sweep. It smelled like cleaning products so bad because they did not air it out, I ended up getting sick. They only removed the $15 parking fee (we were there for about 12 hours). When I complained to hotels, they called and the manager lied and try to say we were late (despite us having picture proof and proof of when my card ran for the deposit). This was supposed to be in prep for my wedding and this made the trip a poor experience
