Room felt a bit dirty, there were some bugs in the room when we arrived. The pullout couch bed was HORRIBLY uncomfortable. Water was shut off for part of the stay. It took forever for things to get to our room. For the price we paid and 4 star rating of the hotel, I would've expected much better.

Very nice staff, really cute place,fairly quiet though next to a freeway. we took bikes out to UCSB to go to cute coffee shop in am. Not a lot near the hotel location but not a long drive to get to things.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Although the rooms were updated 2 years ago they were not in good shape. The room we were in had water damage on the floor/walls, soap rack was broken and the sink water smelled of sewage.
