The room was clean and lovely. Great location, walking distance to the zoo and beach. Happy with self-parking. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast basket you can take back to your room. Would consider the stay again.

Very disappointed. My young daughter and I were traveling alone and we were given a room that seemed to be maybe an old garage converted into a room. It was dark and felt a bit creepy. There was a large gap in the exterior door and several large spiders walked right in while my daughter was awake, so that left her feeling uneasy. We woke up and there were a few dead bugs that I believe flew in through the gap during the night. Pros were the convenience to everything, the location near the beach was fantastic, free easy parking, the pool looked clean and well maintained. I might’ve like this hotel if we were given a different room, but I won’t be returning.

Location great, room spacious. Housekeeping did not come the day we asked. Would recommend a toaster and regular coffee maker in room and a water fill station. Otherwise it was a good choice.

i am planning on emailing the hotel directly. Our room smelled like mold, i am allergic, and sensitive currently as i have recently completed a course of radiation. i felt symptoms coming on after only being in the room for 10 minutes, opened up our windows, and went to the office to ask if anyone else had complained about a moldy smell. The other cosmetic issues in our room, including the hard bed, and the lumpy pillows, could be overlooked, but not the mold. i also got a bloody nose early this morning. i will be asking for a full refund, and hope you will seek some professional to do some testing.

Location is great. It’s a good value BUT there is construction going on during the weekday from midnight to 4am. I saw a recent review saying the same, asked the front desk and they said we’d be away from the noise. Then at midnight until 4am every night, radios playing and construction work. Very odd hours to be doing work.

We had Room 9, right next to the ice machine /restrooms. The room itself was dark and not like the prior room I stayed in (13), which was in a corner and quieter. Other hotel guests get ice at all hours of the day and night and they slam the door. One night, we had to call the after hours number since a group was loud and belligerent until nearly midnight. The after hours answering service was useless-said that they could not get a hold of the onsite person. So we just had to deal with the noise. Second night a wedding party stayed here and I'm pretty sure their regular house is a barn in the sticks bc these people were total loud trash. Asked the front if they could do something about the ice machine room visitors and they said they'll lock the door at night-but this was useless bc you just use your room key to open it. They also told me they had other complaints about the noise. Ummmmm, maybe solve the problem somehow?! The girls that work in the office have zero hospitality industry experience, and I'm sure they're poorly paid for their lack of experience. This visit truly felt low class and uncomfortable. Won't stay here again.
