I would recommend you find a different place to stay, unfortunately. There was an active leak dripping from two spots in the ceiling in the lobby/breakfast area. The front desk was largely unattended and the staff seemed overwhelmed. The same person that checked us in late Saturday afternoon also checked us out on Sunday morning and she looked so tired. I didn't give her feedback, my heart went out to her- it seemed like they were short-staffed? The worst part was the soundproofing. Anyone walking in the hallway talking, kids playing on the patio, or a baby crying in another room sounded as if they were right next to us. I know there's inflation, but at $300+ per night, it was more like a cheap motel experience. In summary: We checked in, went out for dinner and exploring Santa Barbara, fell asleep to someone's baby screaming, woke up to toddlers running the halls, had a quick breakfast with a concerning ceiling leak that was flowing into a large garbage can and a nearby mop bucket... and then checked out as fast as we could.

The hot tub was out of order. This was a but upsetting. I was on a girls weekend...and sitting in the hot tub was pretty high on the list. It was one of the reasons we picked it vs. Other hotels.

Spacious room with couch. Very well-equipped exercise room; complimentary breakfast buffet had lots of options including scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage or bacon, fruit, cereal, toast, oatmeal, etc.; however, the scrambled eggs didn't taste great. Mattress comfort was good for a couple nights.

Misleading Web Page! There is NO On Site Restaurant. This hotel is right next to the 101 freeway. Opposite end of downtown State Street where all the shops and restaurants are located. Not walkable from the hotel. Not even close to the ocean. Too much money to stay at an average hotel. Jacuzzi was broken.

Great location, right off the 101. Quiet rooms despite the proximity to the freeway. Breakfast included freshly made steel-cut oatmeal, which should be eaten no earlier than 30 after buffet opens: by then it is cooked to the proper consistency. Polite and helpful staff.
