Haley Hotel is a charming idiosyncratic place that is a refreshing change from chain hotels. Its decor is all based on a nautical theme and the courtyard is abundant with flowers. Bed was very comfortable. The front staff were charming and helpful, a welcome change from some imperious and officious front desk staffers I have occasionally encountered. Excellent location if you enjoy walking, to downtown State street restaurants and theaters.

The ambiance was a win. After a grueling voyage, it was nice to seek refuge, take a long hot shower, put the LED fireplace on and turn into the evening. The bed and pillows were comfortable, soft yet firm. Air flow, light control, and privacy were nice with the blinds.

Parking was right next door, but by the time I was reminded to check in digitally twice, and had to download an app for the key, I did not appreciate the additional needed download of the parking app. The staff was very nice and the grounds have a lot of options for gathering. The room was very clean, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. The hotel was very welcoming and had great amenities. I loved the location, it is within walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. Although the hotel accepts pets, there was no smell of pets at all, which is so awesome, and it tells you how clean the hotel is.

I love that they allow dogs, but wasn't crazy about the non refundable fee. Seemed high for my little hypallergenic dog who doesn't shed :) But everything else was great!
