Before my trip I received several messages from this property asking for additional fees. I didn’t pay and after an intense exchange they finally honored the rate Expedia charged me. Upon arrival I was charged a $100 damage deposit, even though the staff verified there was absolutely no damages to the room when I decided to leave, I have not received my deposit back. The staff were consistently rude and unwilling to help during my stay. The resort amenities are nothing like what’s advertised. The “spa” and steam room had not been working for months. The gym was outdated and dirty. The “restaurant” was staffed with one person for breakfast to cook and serve and the opening hours posted were not observed - 8 am was really 8:45. The room had a foul sewer smell, I found it unbearable and cut my stay short. It’s surprising that Expedia would do business with this property. I need my deposit back and have received no response from them.
