Room was clean and staff members were very friendly and helpful. Our only caveat was the rather shallow but steep stairs, although it was worth being on the second floor. The place is beautiful and the breakfasts were very good.

All good, except our room was ready and got us excited when we arrived at 1 p.m., but check-in was at 3 p.m. It would have been 800.00 pesos more if we had checked in early. For the price of the hotel, I would think it would be free since it was the slow season in mid-January. The buffet on Sundays is good but a bit expensive if you don’t eat a whole lot. It’s nice though.

I paid for the Grand Master Suite – and while I got a room that had everything listed, it was definitely not the room that displayed in the pictures. Pictures showed a suite that is spacious and large, and had a bathtub – I got a relatively suite that was a series of small rooms. It felt like I didn't actually get what I paid for. Both nights there was live /loud music in the restaurant area and I could hear it from the room. Bathroom smelt like sewage. Carbon monoxide alarm was beeping first night and I couldn't sleep – had to get it removed. Hotel said the store was closed and couldn't get me toothpaste at night.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of San Miguel. It was a perfect location that allowed us to walk to all of the festivities while also being far enough away from the plaza to be restful and quiet. Their courtyard and gardens are so lovely that you almost don't want to leave the hotel.
