Frustrating that there may not be a system to allow a hotel to inform Expedia that the hotel had no AC operating, all rooms. Still I checked out two available rooms, non smoking, but it had a srong smell of smoking being smotherrd by the stench of strong cleaner. No AC and that smell. The staff were exceptionally nice though. Not their fault. Seemed like a corporate failing.

Was able to sleep all night. People fighting and arguing in the hallways. People smoking outside the rooms and because there is no A/C we left the window open. And finally the police lights at 3;00 am to stop the constant arguing out in the parking lot.

You get what yoy pay for

We basically needed a place just to sleep so it was fine. We were not told that theAC wasn’t working until we got there but honestly we didn’t need it. When I asked for a discount I was told that’s why the price was cheaper. The other Motel 6 that was close by was asking over $300. We had a decent sleep but our neighbors were loud. I would stay here again if it’s just to sleep not for vacation. The rooms are very old but clean.

Over priced & terrible rooms & location

Checking in was easy. When we got to the room we found out the AC was not working for the whole building & no plans to get it fixed during our stay. We reserved 3 rooms. One of the rooms bathroom was not cleaned & missing a screen on the window. All the rooms have a terrible smell. There a creek or something near by where homeless kept coming & going. We were on motorcycles & we didn’t feel comfortable leaving them out. We asked for a refund & we were all given a full refund which we are fretful for!

This place was horrible it was midnight with people screaming from the second floor on one side of the parking lot to the first floor on the opposite side. There was people hanging out in the parking lot drinking and having a party while their kids ran from one room to the other without supervision. The hotel had no air so everyone had to leave their windows open the rooms were an oven. My family was miserable the couple hours we were there and decided to drive the 2.5 hours back home without any sleep because of the conditions.

Staff is extremely rude and don’t speak English , no functioning AC to entire building and they were keeping that information to themselves , room was so hot and stuffy , I was so glad Expedia cancelled even after I had checked in and refunded me immediately. Lots of intoxicated people and sketchy people at hotel ! Pay the extra money and stay at better hotel

Subject: Request for Refund – Motel 6 Pismo Beach – AC Not Working I declined to stay at Motel 6 Pismo Beach under Expedia res. ########. The room had no working AC despite being advertised(for the entire property via sign posting on office door and hotel attendant re stating “you’re already getting a deal no more will be given to all guests in line, too bad no AC during a heat wave take or leave it!). Staff could not resolve or relocate me because the whole property had no working AC!!!!! At that point offer refunds not just say the booking sites were made aware!!!!! Then offer me no refund get tf out here!!!!! I’m requesting a full refund or written confirmation supporting a refund to my booking agency. I ended up getting a last minute suite a Hampton Inn Arroyo Grande. You should have contacted people before check in time so they could book elsewhere not have them greated by a sign and overwhelmed staff having to defend the company’s greedy tactics. If I wanted to pay for a third world experience I would have gone to a third world country during a heatwave. This is definitely not what I payed for!!!! Do NOT stay HERE it is in a run down state and catfish pics of the property. The room lacked functioning air conditioning, which was advertised and a material amenity. This is services not as described. Please escalate to a Tier 2/Customer Relations supervisor and review for a full refund under Expedia’s “Hotel amenities not available” policy and your merchant obligations.

Couldn't checkin until 7pm. Air conditioning was out and had been For 3weeks. I had to purchase fans for 3 rooms. Parking ok but noisy at night. No amenities, not even facial tissues. Noth ice machines broken. Had to purchase ice from gas station next door. Poor furnishings needs update.No microwave or mini fridge.

The place looks run down. No lower-level rooms available. No AC. I have COPD and require AC in the summer. They said it was broken and may not be fixed today. After more questioning they admitted it had been broken more than a month and that no one was working on it. It was last minute Labor Day weekend, and I ended up finding another Motel 6 in a different city causing me to pay almost double. I recommend skipping this crap shack.

The AC was out in every until and we were not told until we got there, and it was too late to book with any other hotel due to the holiday. Room was filthy. Food was left in the refrigerator from last occupants. Cable on the TV was not working. Dryer was out of service. There was no ICE ready in the ICE machine. Pool was also filthy. I have stayed at this motel multiple times and this was my first bad experience there. Usually clean and convenient. Alot of unsatisfied customers this time. I really love this location and I hope they do better.
