Cottage Inn by the Sea is a gem in Pismo Beach and a place my family and I have been coming back to for years. The oceanfront rooms are hard to beat, and having multiple fire pits (usually 3–4 available) right along the shore makes evenings there extra special. One of the best recent upgrades is the addition of A/C in every room, such a nice bonus and definitely appreciated. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the experience. They also offer a great selection of complimentary beach gear like chairs, frisbees, footballs, volleyballs, and more, making it easy to enjoy a full day at the beach without bringing everything yourself. It’s a relaxing, family-friendly spot with an unbeatable location. We’ll definitely keep coming back.

The view was amazing! I was able to sit at the little desk with the door open and do remote work all while right within direct view of the ocean. The outdoor fire pits were also a really fun touch!
