The room originally provided was on the 2nd floor and with poor sea view so I requested another and was given a better room on the 3rd floor, which I appreciated. When we returned to the room to sleep we noticed a very strong cleaning detergent order and even with the window open all night it did not dissipate. In the morning while taking a shower the shower rod fell out on my sister and nearly hurt her, causing her to fall backwards. She is okay but was shaken. When we mentioned this upon check out we did not even hear a "sorry about that experience". Does it happen often one wonders? I will not be staying at Edgewater Inn and Suites again.

Room was clean but dated facility, location was great, beach access! We had a partial ocean since our room was close to the water, we only stayed 1 night and it was cold and rainy so we didn’t use it but the heated pool and hot tub was open and working. Would stay here again. Continental breakfast was bagels, pastries/muffins, fruit, coffee, tea, and oatmeal.
