Amazing value! The hotel and its location is perfect for the budget traveler who isn't planning on spending the whole trip in the hotel room. This room was no-frills except where it counted -- the bed is very comfortable, the AC is quiet and cold, and the bathroom/shower is clean and well-appointed. Walking distance to some incredible restaurants in Miramar, the arts district, and La Placita. A short 5ish-minute Uber ride to the beaches and Old San Juan. Around the corner from some really great restaurants, bars, bakeries, coffee shops, and modern exercise studios with day passes. The girl at the front desk was super helpful, and even hooked me up with a beach towel, sunscreen, and some bug spray when I forgot to pack them. I'll definitely be back, and I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a budget-friendly base of operations to explore San Juan, ESPECIALLY if you have a rental car (the free on-site parking is a rare find).

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Very disappointing stay. Our room was not ready at check-in, and we waited over 30 minutes before being able to access it. Once we got inside, the room felt damp and humid the entire stay, and there was a dehumidifier running that we had to empty every other day. When we tried to speak with a manager about the issue, there was never one available, and the front desk staff could not provide any answers or solutions. The worst part came on our last day when housekeeping entered our room without knocking while we were completely undressed. To make matters worse, when we stripped the bed to help housekeeping before checkout, we discovered that the pillows we had been sleeping on for four days were covered in mold. Between the moisture issues, lack of management support, privacy concerns, and moldy bedding, this was an unacceptable experience. I would not stay here again.
