The room was mostly clean. However the room looked like it was half under construction with mud/spackle on the walls. The towels were a dingy off white/brown color that looked like they were stained dirty. You could hear noise outside of the hotel the whole night and could hear everything in the room next to you including their tv and conversations.

The staff was amazing, location was perfect to the beach and shopping. The room was okay, dated but it wasn't bad. The sink was stopped up so while brushing our teeth we had to keep the water off. The air didn't work after the first day oh and I have several bumps on my body and so does my boyfriend. My thighs, arms and stomach. Again, the staff was great but the rooms need work done to them. Oh and the bar from what we were told is not apart of the property. It was a party going on and we could not attend because we were not on the guest list.

We are writing regarding our recent stay. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The room was not clean (the floor was slippery and the towels had hair on them), the bed squeaked loudly, and the noise from other rooms was excessive. Several amenities did not work as advertised: the hot tub was lukewarm with no jets, the shower did not function properly, and the microwave was broken when we asked to heat our food. In addition, we were told the lobby would be locked at 11 p.m. for safety, but when we returned at 12:40 a.m. the doors were still open, which made us feel unsafe.

The Wave Hotel doesn't respond to messages via the Hotels.com platform. Their phone number doesn't work and they don't have a working website, so we aren't even sure if the hotel is actually open. We tried multiple times to contact them about a late arrival and they didn't respond, so we had to find an alternate hotel (and spend more $$) as a result. Even the Hotels.com customer support team failed to contact them when we asked for help. Either this hotel is no longer in business or it simply doesn't operate in a professional manner. We wasted time and money as a result. Horrible experience.

It’s very out dated definitely not a place to stay to long it was a last minute trip cause I extended my trip and my other hotel was booked I mean it was okay if it’s to change and shower bathroom is very small and the tv is very old felt like I was at my grandma house and the sheets are very rough

This was the perfect place to stay for my first time visiting PR. I was able to walk to the beach along with having access to various restaurants. Taking a uber or taxi from my hotel was perfect because it was about a 10 minute drive to the stadium (concert), Old San Juan, or the airport. The staff was great in helping me get checked in & out. There were available 24 HR a day ! Definitely would book at this hotel again

It was a convenient location, however there were some issues. There were stains on the sheets, the bed was itchy, hot tub didn’t work and when it did the rooftop was rented out for a party so hotel guests couldn’t go up there. Air conditioning was not working, it was too cold about 58 degrees. We had to turn off the AC in order for the temperature to increase. The Hotel does not look bad from the outside but there are some flaws. For the price i would have rather paid more for a cleaner place.

From day one, we had experienced issues with the air conditioning, which were only resolved temporarily instead of being addressed by providing us with another room. Upon entering the hotel, we noticed a strong smell of mold rather than just humidity. Additionally, my friends stayed in the adjacent room and found black mold on their bathroom walls. When we raised our concerns at the front desk, they seemed to regard the issues as normal. There also weren't enough power outlets in the room, making it difficult to charge our devices. As a result, we decided to check out of this hotel.
