Well, there is a misrepresentation of the hotel accommodations; the partial ocean view was obstructed by trees and a building. However, when the traffic was down, you could absolutely hear the ocean. The 8th floor smelled like bad seafood, and the room had roaches.

Jesus and Arnaldo at the front desk were so helpful and stored my bags before check in. They were amazing & I would come back for them! This location is walkable but the public areas and restaurants are much better looking than the rooms. My room had no overhead light so it was pretty dim throughout the night. The hallways had a faint mold smell but I didn’t see any mold there. TRYP gets high marks because the staff goes above and beyond and overcompensates where the rooms fall short.
