The Space:
Ocean Vibes at Isla Verde is a bright, modern, and minimalistic 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment for 2, located in the heart of Isla Verde and just steps from the soft sands of the beach.
Fully air-conditioned, this contemporary retreat also includes a washer and dryer for your convenience, high-speed Wi-Fi, and access to a refreshing pool.
Situated in one of Puerto Rico’s most desirable areas, you’re just minutes away from top restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and the airport. Whether you’re seeking a relaxing beach escape or an adventure-filled vacation, Ocean Vibes is your perfect base.
LIVING AREA
Step into a bright and airy living space designed for relaxation. The living room features one comfortable sofa and a flat-screen TV—ideal for unwinding after a day in the sun. Adjacent to the living area, there is a round dining table perfect for enjoying meals together, as well as a high-top table where you can savor a glass of wine or your favorite cocktail while taking in the view. The open-concept layout seamlessly connects the kitchen, dining, and living areas, creating a sense of spaciousness.
BEDROOM & BATHROOM
The serene bedroom features a queen bed, blackout curtains for restful sleep, ample closet space, and a dedicated working desk with a chair—perfect for remote work or planning your Puerto Rico adventures. The modern bathroom includes a walk-in shower and a double sink vanity, combining style and functionality.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY)
We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
The sleek, fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, including a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Whether it’s a quick breakfast before heading to the beach or a leisurely dinner at home, this kitchen has you covered.
GETTING AROUND
We recommend moving around via Uber if staying within the general Isla Verde and San Juan area.
If you decide to rent a car, please keep in mind that this apartment **DOES NOT** have parking.
LOCATION
Ocean Vibes is just steps away from Isla Verde Beach, allowing you to experience the sun, sand, and sea with ease. While the unit does not offer direct beach views, its unbeatable location makes it a prime choice for those looking to enjoy one of the most sought-after areas in Puerto Rico.
There are many things to do in the surrounding areas; here are some of our favorites:
Chill at the beach! It is one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico and a must-do if you stay at Ocean Vibes. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and a cooler for a long day at the beach.
Lunch or dinner at La Placita de Santurce, a local market with 20+ restaurants and awesome nightlife. We love Santaella Restaurant, local cuisine with a modern approach in La Placita.
Shop at The Mall of San Juan. This brand-new mall is a 10-minute drive from the apartment and has excellent shops and dining options.
Explore El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 30-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under the U.S. Flag.
Spend a day in Old San Juan. Ocean Vibes is a 15-minute drive away from the oldest city in all of the U.S. There is a lot of history and great food and drinks to savor.

STARTER AMENITIES
At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.
All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
- A small amount of laundry detergent
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 2 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.
Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
