This is the second year in a row that my wife and I stayed at La Mona Loiza Apartments and we were not disappointed. The room was very spacious and clean. The amenities were superb and the staff were very hospitable as usual. We will definitely be returning.

I would stay here again. The AC was nice and cold. The staff was friendly and fast. My room smelled wonderful and was very clean. The location was extremely convenient very close to resources and food. The only thing I’d say wasn’t my favorite was the fact that you can’t flush ANYTHING, not even toilet paper. The shower never got hot. And the pool is just nice to look at. Overall I’d recommend this property to anyone and would stay again. Very clean and convenient. Exceeded my expectations.

Pros: -Decent enough and affordable. -Convenient, walkable location. Uber to Old SJ and T Mobile district was less than $10. -AC was cold. -Toiletries, coffee, clothing iron, and other supplies provided. -Had a smart TV that we were able to log into Netflix on. Cons: -The staff members we encountered were pushy and passive aggressive. -Walls are thin, I could hear other guests like they were standing in the room with me. -Water pressure was poor, and the temperature was all over the place. I had to continually turn it up and down while showering because it would go between boiling hot and ice cold without me touching it, never actually feeling comfortable. The last day, the hot water just didn’t work at all. -Also killed a roach in the room. Didn’t see any others, but still worth mentioning. Overall, not the worst, but I likely won’t return. It’s a good option if you want a fine room without breaking the bank. Just beware that it’s a get-what-you-pay-for kind of place.

The location was excellent especially if you’re staying for more than a day. My boyfriend and I stayed for 5 days so we went to the grocery store which is a 2 min walk to get some groceries for our stay. They have pans, dishes, utensils for you to prepare food. They also have microwave to heat up any food you may have brought back with you from a restaurant. If you’re a coffee drinker they have a coffee maker and coffee grounds, sugar and small creamers. They also have salt and pepper packets in the same container where the coffee is. It is close to the beach as well. Many delicious food places within walking distance. There’s also a balcony. Overall it was cute and we liked it.

The room I was in had no hot water. I called and they told me they would look into it tomorrow. I left on that day. Horrible customer service. I would not recommend this place. It was also very difficult to find .

It was a great place to stay and in a prime location. The room was clean and had everything I needed. If I ever needed anything, I was able to communicate with the team very easily. I would definitely recommend this place.

I was very satisfied with my stay. Host was very responsive and accommodating (upgraded my room without a hassle). The apartment complex was clean and centrally located around lots of shops, food, entertainment, beaches and close to the airport. I did not rent a car because everything was in walking distance. As a solo traveler, I feel safe in the apartment and walking the neighborhood. 10000/10 for this host!

I’ve stayed at this property multiple times, easy check in process, staff is responsive to texts. The hotel is located in a very centralized area, you’re close to everything. The rooms are good too.
