Spent the night here after arriving from the US. The property is absolutely beautiful. We ate at the restaurant because we were wiped out after traveling all day. Outstanding stay! We came for the gardens, and they did not disappoint. They were beautiful and extremely well maintained. The gardeners were great and helped us locate some birds. We were equally impressed with the hotel. It is a lovely building with comfortable rooms. The restaurant is fantastic and the complimentary breakfast is wonderful. I came because this place is famous in the birding community, and the gardens did not disappoint. Breakfast was excellent, but it would’ve been nice to have a light roast Coffee option, besides the dark roast.
