First off the staff was friendly and helpful. The issue is the building is falling apart and obviously underfunded. The grounds are being swallowed up by the jungle, paint peeling off everywhere and nothing to do on the grounds. The room was big and clean with a small private pool with a comfortable bed

Overall, we had a good experience. The room was spacious, very clean, and well maintained. The towels and bed linens smelled fresh, and the private plunge pool was also clean. The room itself exceeded our expectations. The property, however, could use some maintenance. It's a beautiful old hacienda with a lot of character, but many of the common areas feel worn and in need of upkeep. The beach club was a highlight—the pool was fantastic—but the clubhouse itself was in poor condition and appeared somewhat neglected. One thing to keep in mind is that the hacienda and the beach club are quite far apart, so having a car is highly recommended. Despite the property's need for renovations, we enjoyed our stay and had a positive overall experience.

Silvia was very accommodating and welcoming. They went above and beyond to look after us at any time of the day and night. The communication was also excellent. The grounds are beautiful and even tho you walk 5mins and are in town you feel completely in the jungle and the different pools offer different vibes. Highly recommend and would love to be back here with my family. Thank you so so much for everything!!

Pool had a beautiful view of ocean where we watched whales and birds while having pool totally to ourselves . Loved that the resort was spacious and uncrowded.Secured with gates and a few minute walk to town. Staff went over and above Rubin at the front desk gave a guided tour of the facilities and town with suggestions of restaurants and activities .Housekeeping was excellent . Definitely will return. Also front desk Diana arranged that our laundry which was plentiful was clean and returned before our check out .

Our experience overall was better than we could have expected. Not only was the room spacious and beautiful, the whole set up of the pool area was great, but the staff was stellar. Adrian, the manager, and the front desk gals couldn't have been more accommodating, jumping at every chance to make us happy. On the evening of the lock-down due the the cartel retaliation in Puerto Vallarta, when we were unable to leave the premises to get dinner and breakfast, Sylvia took it upon herself to order in pizzas and pastries for guests - rather than staying in our rooms and feeling stressed about the situation, she made it so that we had a great time mingling with other guests and forgetting about the shut-down. Also, the cleaning staff was very friendly and efficient. Thank you to Adrian, Silvia, and Dianna for an awesome 28 days!!! See you next year.

The rooms were not very clean—the bed sheets were dirty and had an unpleasant smell. I reported this to the staff, but they did not offer to change them. While the staff was friendly, the overall cleanliness was disappointing. Additionally, one of the bathroom doors in the room was falling off, which was concerning. To make matters worse, when we left to go eat, staff entered our room without our authorization. This made us feel very uncomfortable. The rooms require a PIN for entry, but it seemed that staff members had access to it, raising serious privacy and security concerns. Overall, this experience did not meet our expectations.
