Breakfast was kinda gross. Bagels were stale, eggs were powdered and sausage was “veggie”. People above our room must have been playing football in their night all night because of all the noise. Price was great. I guess you get what you pay for

Breakfast included eggs, pork, tator tots, cold cereal, waffle maker. Some days had caffeine free coffee, some did not. We stayed 6 nights and the room is very comfortable and spacious. Our key cards didn’t work half the time (not kept with anything magnetic). Convention location. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We stay here whenever we are in the area. It is very centrally located for our needs, near to Stanford and the rest of the Bay Area. The staff is friendly and helpful. Some one here likes to garden, as there are always many plants, especially roses.

The Atherton is a recently reimagined boutique hotel. It was clean and provided a complimentary breakfast. There was a small hiccup with our room when we first arrived and upon learning of the issue they made things right in a most professional way. Rooms closer to the check-in point are a bit noisy, but at the back it was quiet. Overall it was sufficient for our needs. It is close to downtown Redwood City which made accessing the fabulous dining found there super convenient! It is close enough to San Francisco to make it a quieter choice for a weekend getaway while still being able to see the sights! Staff was excellent and knowledgeable. Good stay.
