Loved this place. Great location, clear communication and it was very nice. Fun to stay right downtown. Walking distance to the Gaslamp District, Petco, etc. I hight recommend!

Overall, really enjoyed our stay. We were on the second floor and for the most part, was very quiet. Was in a good location-close to fun bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. The only issues we had were the room got very hot despite there being a window AC unit and the rooftop fire pits did not work.

Amazing location downtown with easy walking to shops and restaurants. Very clean room with amazing staff, the amenities on the rooftop weren’t working but the staff said they should be up soon.

Good for a short stay if you just need a place to sleep. The room could have been cleaner—there were visible stains on the bedding and leftover items from a previous guest, which made it feel like housekeeping wasn’t thorough. It was also quite noisy, not just from the location but from inside the building, with frequent door slamming and noticeable noise from plumbing and upstairs activity.

Great location but we could hear street noise like the property wasnt ensonorated We heard someone opening a can of “pop” from our room and really need some curtains or something for darkness. The barn door wasn’t closing properly so very embarrassing since was traveling with unrelated people.

The properties pipes made a constant loud noise!! It happened anytime someone used the water which was all the time! We couldn’t sleep from the noise it was a never ending sound! If you stay downstairs you’ll hear the people in the alley. Rooms are very small as well ;( overall place 5/10 location isnt bad.

The online check-in process was clear and easy to navigate. When we arrived, the room was hot and humid, despite the air conditioning unit seemingly running on the coolest setting. We had to get to a dinner reservation, so we left and anticipated the room would cool down. When we arrived back after dinner (4ish hours later) our room was still significantly humid and much hotter than the community areas. We went up to the rooftop to check out the fire pits but none were working. We were uncomfortably hot in our room all night. Glad to only have had one night to stay!

Overall it was a good hotel. My room was on the first floor at the corner of two streets. The local baseball team was is in the middle of a series so it was frequently loud between 10pm and 1am at night with people on the street. I didn’t mind but it did wake me up a few times. I did have to kill two friends (cockroaches) while I stayed there. I am not from the area so I am not sure if this is a hazard of staying in an older building. I would consider staying again but would request a different room.
