My daughter and I had a blast. Great food, great service. The rooftop pool and hot top was a treat. We even lived riding the elevators. Great views of downtown and the bay!

Felt like a 3 star stay

I personally do not feel this was a four star hotel we had a chair with ripped fabric in our room of which I have photos. The breakfast buffet was closer to what you would get at a Holiday Inn then what I have had at other four star hotels. Next time I visit San Diego I will stay somewhere else. That being said I felt the customer service was very good.

The Weston Bayfront in San Diego is a gem. The staff was excellent. They are kind, timely, gracious, and efficient. The environment is a lovely and welcoming environment. Plus, as an Amtrak user, their location is an easy walk from the Santa Fe Station. Also, as a walker, the fact that the Weston is a 30 minute walk to Balboa Park and a few steps from the Bayfront is also a plus. Thank you for your thoughtful service Weston Bayfront Staff.

Staff were kind and helpful, and the bar/food was good, but the hotel itself was very disappointing. Our first room was dirty, the second needed maintenance, housekeeping was minimal, and common areas often smelled and looked unclean. The property is advertised as a resort, but it lacks resort amenities, and daily destination fees added no value — I would not stay here again.

Everything about the Westin was exceptional! All the staff we came in contact with serviced with a smile! Kuddos to Levy at the guest counter and Lee at the baggage hold counter, our first contacts with very warm and welcoming service! Our 3 nights room stay was comfortable with wonderful amenities and the daily social guest hour was supurb! The Westin is so accessible to all the restaurants and the Harbor.
