The HillView Inn did not meet my expectations. I had read previous reviews and knew it was an economic stay but with the front desk giving me a key to an occupied room and then disappearing for 30 minutes. Had multiple guests waiting in lobby. Water shutting off mid shower on my wife was another hiccup. I wouldn’t recommend and won’t be staying here again

Nice Stay

It was okay. It was for a small trip , so it was convenient to stay . The staff was friendly and helped when I had issue with a TV they moved me to a room where the TV work so I appreciate that . So if you are looking for a good stay look at Hillview Inn

The first room’s TILE floor was wet with condensation when I walked. I turned on the loud air conditioner and began unpacking. Then I noticed a large puddle of water and more water coming out of the wall from the air conditioning unit. I called the front desk and asked for someone to look at it. The attendant came out and looked at it and gave me a key to another room. I don’t think this was the first time this happened. I walked up the stairs to the second room. The stairs looked like they were going to collapse at anytime due to rust. I entered the second room and was hit in the face by the smell of dead rats. I immediately went down stairs and turned my keys in. HillView Inn is not a safe place to stay. I asked for a refund and they refused. Not that I am surprised by the way run their Inn. Don’t stay there if you have the choice.

I canceled within 10 minutes of booking. I asked & expected a hotel not a filthy motel. I did park & walk in. Dear God. I would not have a dog stay here. I stayed at the lovely, clean Holiday Inn down the street. Not good.
