Caution; this Hampton hotel, along with another eight blocks away, each describe themselves as San Antonio: downtown – Riverwalk. This one is quite far from the Riverwalk. Plus, deceived by the listing, I paid for overnight parking near the other one, only to discover that I was at the wrong Hampton Inn, Riverwalk, location upon check-in.

Shops were nearby walking but the security of us walking not there at all. A lot of homeless & addicts which made me feel unsafe. The hotel itself was okay i expected more & Asked for new towels which they said they will take to the room & I already home & still waiting on them!!! Also, the cleaning of the room is every other day of your stay which to me was non convenient because i stay 2 nights 3 days so i never got new towels or anything..

The host at the evening he was getting a lot of questions and bad comments about everything he did his best to get everybody an answer so a high five for him, but it was to many people they over booked the hotel and the parking was horrible, the host at the night shift was very rude to me basically she did not wanted to be there, in overall the hotel was considered good because is close to downtown and the river walk but a good stay in overall.
