The restroom door would not shut. Also missing door handle. Hot water in shower not very hot. Just warm Lobby restrooms were dirty. Carpet in hallways were stained. The Lobby staff were just relaxing and hanging out on their phones In Lobby. I was expecting better from the reviews I read. Disappointing

My experience at the Aloft was noticeable different from my stays at a conventional hotel as far as ambiance is concerned. Definitely oriented toward the Gen X crowd. The staff was welcoming and always attentive.
