I have to say this hotel experience was a 10 out of 10. The kids amenities were amazing, the location is perfect and the food was spectacular. They have an indoor water slide, free child care and activities, and a feeding and cleaning room for babies. I will be going back to another Falkenstiener property in the future.

We stayed at Falkensteiner Resort Lake Garda beginning August 2 and had an absolutely incredible experience. We knew the resort had opened only about a week before our arrival, so we were a little nervous about what to expect, but everything exceeded our expectations. The staff, service, facilities, pools, restaurants, rooms, spa, and gym were all open, finished, and beautifully done. The rooftop restaurant views are impeccable, and the buffet restaurant had some of the best food we experienced anywhere on our trip. The complimentary breakfast was a true five-star experience every morning, nothing continental about it. What stood out most was how well the resort caters to children. It was the best family resort experience we’ve had anywhere. Our kids loved the indoor slides and outdoor pool and honestly refused to leave. After we went to the JW Marriott in Venice, all they talked about was wanting to go back to Falkensteiner. Our room was amazing, though there is still some construction visible if your room faces the outside perimeter. My only suggestion would be adding a regular shuttle or golf cart service to downtown Salò. The lake is an easy walk, but the main shops, restaurants, and ferry pickup are farther, especially with kids and summer heat. Overall, this was a true 10/10 stay. We cannot wait to return. Thank you to the entire team for your incredible hospitality.

A high price tag hotel which we didn’t feel the service / overall experience lived up to. The reception staffs English is very poor and you feel like an inconvenience ringing down rather then anyone be overly helpful on the phone. During our stay glasses / mugs were never replaced in our room and Vanity kits never replaced in our room either I needed cotton ear buds for my babies ears and I must of rang 6 separate times for them and they were never delivered. Pretty poor service for a 5 star hotel guests having to ring down to replace simple things in the room. Not having an à la carte restaurant 4 nights of the week in a 5 star hotel we did not expect either, we don’t personally like a buffet dinner but were forced to eat this as no other à la carte option and no nice restaurants in short walking distance of the hotel. The service by the pool was also pretty poor nobody checking if you wanted a drink or food. We did enjoy the breakfast each morning there was a really good choice and good quality. The atmosphere food and service in house of negroni was also very good and same with Falkys kids club a nice facility and the staff were super. This hotel has potential but we feel it didn’t live up to its price point. Our check out process took 40 minutes and we didn’t even get asked how our stay was by the man checking us out.
