Room very nice especially for a wheelchair user. Had a roll in shower which was nice a large however I think as much water filled out as in. The additional floor drain out side the shower didn’t have enough slope to keep a small lake from forming. Very clean and nice carpet a furnishings. They could have used a couple more garbage cons for the size of the room. Overall we were happy enough. Breakfast looked good unfortunately we had little time to enjoy. Great coffee!

I used Hotels.com for this whole trip 7 stays at different hotels. Always using your filter for “DOG FRIENDLY” and never had a problem until this hotel which informed me dehn I went to check in they were “NOT DOG FRIENDLY” when I asked about a refund because I was there ready to check in I was told to call you. Which I tried to do with no success. So I called my Apple Card to dispute this charge. I had to then find a place in an unknown city to spend the night on my way home from a 15 day trip. I will be calling you tomorrow to complain and hopefully you will be more helpful than your app! You can check my past trips to see they are all dog friendly hotels.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The morning breakfast available is very good and stays open until 10 am. The downside, the rooms are very noisy. You can hear every movement in the room above along with the road traffic outside. The surrounding area is not the best, a lot of homeless, but they do have a private patrol service that keeps an eye on the parking lot and the grounds. Just as a note, the state penitentiary is only two blocks away. Downtown Salem? Well, you will have to judge for yourself.
