Chalet au Coeur de la Forêt et Rivière

You will be on the edge of a beautiful river where you can walk and snowshoe on our private trails. You will have access to the 5 km of trails of our woodlot as well as 2 km of the Iroquois River that criss-crosses our lot. We will be on site to welcome you. You can use our washer and dryer if needed. Access to a BBQ. Water, shower, gas stove and electric fridge, queen bed. The bed is on the mezzanine.<br>The accommodation<br>N.B. For the winter season, there will be no running water. I will bring you clean water for the toilet, shower and drinking. Ideal for 2 people. 3 km from the village and the grocery store. Close to several tourist attractions: Historic Village of Val-Jalbert, Moulin des Pionniers, Zoo sauvage de St-Félicien, Musée Amérindiens de Mashteuiatsh,<br>Traveler access<br>We live on a 1.6 km long lot. Weekend in the woods

The description of the property does not do it justice. The property is beautiful. We were welcomed with a fresh loaf of bread which was amazing! Other than the sound of the river it was very quiet with lots room to walk and explore. The cabin was very comfortable and dry (it rained a lot during our stay). The kitchen was fully outfitted with anything we could need. Overall I would be eager to stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce beau petit chalet rustique entièrement équipé. Bien qu'il soit situé à seulement quelques pas de la plage de St-Prime où l'on peut profiter de la baignade dans le Lac-St-Jean et à seulement une quinzaine de minutes du magnifique zoo de St-Félicien, le petit chalet nous plonge dans une atmosphère complètement différente. En plein coeur de la forêt et sur le bord d'une petite rivière, le calme et la sérénité y sont présents à tout moment. Merci à nos hôtes si sympathiques et accueillants. Nous n'hésiterons pas à retourner vous voir lors d'une prochaine visite.

I had to leave early. The property is not mosquito-proof. I could not sleep or enjoy the property because of constant mosquito infiltration. It was torture. Do not visit this property in the summer. J'ai dû partir plus tôt. La propriété n'est pas protégée contre les moustiques. Je n'ai pas pu dormir ni profiter des lieux à cause de l'infiltration constante de moustiques. C'était une torture. Ne visitez pas cette propriété en été.
