Lovely spotlessly clean room with large balcony. Food and service was superb . Excellent breakfast. . Our only disappointment was the small internal bar area which lacked atmosphere - and sometimes staff ! We will happily stay again on our next visit to the Vendee.

We were only staying one night, so it did not matter, BUT I think an actual photo of the hotel itself rather than a photo of an apartment block in the town that does look over the beach would be more appropriate/honest etc.

Comfortable, welcoming hotel

We stayed at Le Robinson on our way back home from Perigord. We found the hotel clean and comfortable with a good restaurant - the sort of place to which we would happily return. When our car wouldn't start on the morning of our departure, the staff went out of their way to help. Many thanks, Fabien, for really going the extra mile to ensure we made it home.

Conveinent, restruant excellent, one or two snags

Booked and paid extra for a "room with balcony with city veiws" as this was a special holiday, the veiw was a gable end wall and a pathway - responce from hotel was "you'd have to pay a lot more for a veiw" hinting the room was cheap via Hotels.com so you got what you got. WiFi internet only worked in reception and you had to get a new password and code everyday - no internet in room block even stood under the repeater. Breakfast was a bun fight and only taken one day - room too small for size of hotel, very difficult to serve yourself as other guests kept pushing in to top up their prevoius selection, only one coffee machine worked properly, the 'corn flake' type cerial was soggy before milk added and unedable, the coco pops type machine did not even work handle just went round and round, no dispence. Little interest from staff re resolving issues. Good points - pool and jackusi, the restuarant is excellent with great staff, location is good and easy to find, room and hotel very clean and well kept. Shame about the dissapointment re above comment, overall very good but not worth 'extra' for the balcony we had.
