We usually stay at the one in Elk grove but this one was closer to the church that we were attending a funeral at. First off when I searched hotels that had a hot tub this one came up. When we got there we came to find out that they got rid of the hot tub. So after a cold plunge in the pool we went to take a shower. The shower drain was super plugged so our feet were bathing in dirty shower water. We woke up the next morning only to find out the waffle maker was broken so cereal it was. Before we left I mentioned the shower drain and they fixed it while we were gone. When we got back a huge clump of hair and whatever else they got out of the drain was just sitting in the toilet. So gross and can't that plug up a toilet too? Maybe use the garbage and/or don't leave it for your guests to see and flush themselves. then somehow we got locked out of our bathroom. Could have been our daughter but not likely. Anyway, next time we will most likely just stay at a different hotel in the area or go back to the Fairfield inn in Elk Grove. But this hotel was quiet and the staff was nice. Especially Jennifer. She got us more towels when we needed it and kept the place clean and was very friendly and welcoming.

Really?

The hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. There are two reasons for the lower rating. First, we asked the room be cleaned once on our three night stay. We even verified with the front desk it would be done. When we go back to the room late that afternoon, it hadn’t been done. We called the front dest and someone came up with fresh towels and said there would be someone to clean the room. When we got back from dinner no one had been up to clean. We needed to do laundry. The front desk told us we had to download their app. It was $4 for a wash and $4 for the dryer. But the app required a minimum of $10. Seems to me its a sneaky way to take more of my money rather than provide an honest service.

The hotel was very nice, clean and mostly quiet. The only things i want to see improved are minor gripes. The most of which is the HVAC unit. It did the job but was very noisy. I was able to sleep with it on, so not horrible but it did make it difficult to hear the TV. The other minor gribe is the trash can. They have a cute little combination recycling and trash bin. Cute bing the keyword, not functional. There was no trash liner, where was i supposed to put wet trash? I wound up using the bathroom one as it was normal. The positives of this hotel far outweigh these minor gripes. Its very conveniently located for my biannual trips to see my Dr.s at Mather VA. The breakfast bar was nice and clean and the food pretty tasty. There were more offerings than many of the hotels i have stayed at. All the staff were courteous and helpful. The carpets and floors clean and well maitained. I saved the best for last, the bed. The bed was so comfortable and I slept very well for both nights and thats the real reason i return here. I've stayed at cheaper places and one of the area they save money on are getting super firm mattresses assuming they'll last longer. Maybe so, but that might be because guests dont come back. I highly recommend the Fairfield Inn.

Fairfield stays are always tops! See you again!

Food options at breakfast were great!! They really seemed to provide options for everyone’s taste buds; I even saw gluten free items! Muffins freshly made, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs nicely done, sausage, oatmeal, yogurts (more than 2 kinds and sizes, all the nuts — pumpkin/pepita, sunflower, walnuts, flax seeds, dried coconut, craisins/dried cranberries, waffle making fresh, great coffee, selection of various teas, cream, milk, almond milk, oat milk and at least 3 different fresh juices!! Bed accommodations were firm yet soft and comfortable, with just right amount of furniture for comfort (couch, desk, available drawer space, etc.). Charlie was nice enough to change bedding between guest stays since I had two separate people coming to stay with me for one night versus the other. Her housekeeping makes me feel right at home and keeps me coming back.🙏🙋‍♀️ Vanessa Glen and Ahman were great welcoming greeters and Vanessa always was sweet and each had warm hearts and very kind welcoming demeanors, even the nice bearded maintenance man was happy to help, although I feel bad as I missed his name. Thank you all and see you next time!!

This property was a great and affordable location putting us in an area that was close to the things that we had gone to Sacramento to see. There was a ton of parking, the staff were super friendly, the room was spacious, and the shower had great hot water pressure.
