Small but Cosy Chalet With Great Views on Walking Distance From Gstaad Promenade

The typical chalet was built in the 1970s by four friends from Zurich who wanted a family getaway in the countryside. They found a plot of land in “Grund bei Gstaad,” just a short walk from the Promenade in Gstaad, along the Saane River, with a beautiful view of the fields and mountains—which are just as impressive in winter as they are in summer. Instead of dividing the space horizontally like an apartment, they decided to split it vertically, creating four small houses—a clever design choice that adds to the charm and privacy of each individual unit. As a result, every room in the house is connected by a small staircase.
Upon entering the house, you are immediately immersed in the Alpine atmosphere, with old wooden paneling and lovely, authentic furniture.
