This motel is in a fantastic location, perfect to walk to the lake front & town for restaurants etc. The amenities & rooms are pretty tired & could use a spruce up for sure but we found the room to be clean & tidy. Rooms are very warm in winter, didn’t even need to use the heat pump.

Stayed 4 nights!! Cozy room well equipped friendly staff and close to places! Only downside is poor ventilation in the room, without the AC all the smell and smoke from cooking stays in the room no air suction im the kitchen unless you open the sliding door which doesn’t give you much privacy if your room is facing the main road. However it is such a nice motel will definitely stay there again!

The room was large 66 square meters, warm, equipped well. It’s in front of Rotorua lake, close to the Government House. We dipped in the spa pool that was barely able to stay in as the temperature wasn’t hot enough. So does hot pool. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. We will use this motel again.
